Ganimede –transaction server for Progress RDBMS

The project was started as an "open-source" alternative to Webspeed commercial product from Progress Software Corporation. The "open-source" project is hosted on SourceForge site – the license used is GNU LGPL.

Various support options are available for your convenience so you can get all the help that you need starting from installation to development or migration.

*New* Plus is an improved version with simple API interface add-on that allow simple calls from external clients (C, Php, Perl, Python) which extend the broker functionality beyond the web transaction server and allowing it to act as an application server.

pRo+ version will be available soon and will include various improvements using a different architecture based on a multi-thread server.

Enigma’s E.bridge award winning applicationcan use Ganimede as a transaction server; from version 2.01 even had this option available when installing the application.
